Some ground carries more than dirt. This Saturday, Beaumont gathers on the most historically significant piece of land in Southeast Texas to do what this city does best: show up together. |
Spindletop’s historic ground at 5550 Jimmy Simmons Blvd, where the world-changing Lucas Gusher launched the Texas oil boom in 1901, will once again become a focal point for community transformation this Saturday.
The Shine Music and Arts Festival, organized by Worship International, aims to bring Beaumont together for a joyful celebration of love, faith, creativity, and local pride.
Running from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Spindletop Gladys-City Boomtown Museum, Shine will feature local vendors, food trucks, live music, and nonprofit showcases.
All ages are welcome to enjoy a day created for connection and inspiration, in the very place that catapulted Beaumont into history.
The community behind Shine believes the land that once sparked a global transformation still has the power to launch something memorable—if only for one Saturday, and one family at a time. Read More... |
