The Best Leaders in Southeast Texas Have a Secret Weapon. Her Name Is Arianna Mace.

She has led what you are leading. She has felt what you are feeling. And for seven years she has been helping Southeast Texas leaders do it better.

Southeast Texas is a region in motion. New leadership across city government. Nonprofits navigating tight budgets and growing demand. Business owners rebuilding and expanding after years of disruption. Tourism organizations working to put this region on the map. Chambers and economic development groups working to attract investment and keep talent here.

All of that takes leaders. And leading, more often than people admit out loud, is a lonely job.

Arianna Mace knows that firsthand. Before she launched Propel Consulting, she spent years sitting in the chairs her clients now occupy. She has been a teacher, an instructional leader, an adjunct instructor, and an executive director. She has worked directly with boards of directors, led staff teams, and guided organizations through the kind of growth and transformation that keeps you up at night.

She is not someone who studied leadership from the outside. She lived it from the inside.

That background goes beyond the boardroom. Mace has presented to packed conference rooms of tourism professionals, economic development leaders, and regional organizations on the most difficult challenges facing communities like Southeast Texas. The infrastructure gaps, economic pressures, resource shortfalls, and connectivity challenges that rural and emerging destinations face are real, and the leaders navigating them need real support.

"Many leaders don't need someone to provide answers," Mace says. "They need a trusted thought partner who will listen, ask meaningful questions, challenge assumptions, and help them uncover the best path forward."

That is the model at Propel. For seven years Mace has been bringing that approach to Southeast Texas leaders, creating a confidential space for executives, business owners, nonprofit leaders, emerging leaders, and women in leadership to think more clearly, make stronger decisions, and move forward with purpose. Her clients span Texas, Louisiana, and California, working across industries from education and tourism to chambers of commerce, economic development, and private business.

"Leadership can be lonely," she says. "Coaching provides space to pause, reflect, and make decisions that are aligned with who you are and the kind of leader you want to become."

Seven years in, that model has proved itself across industries and leadership levels. High performers who need a place to think out loud. Leaders navigating transitions, team dynamics, and major decisions without the option of showing uncertainty to the people who depend on them. First-time executives who have the talent but want support to grow into the role.

Southeast Texas has no shortage of those people. And it has Arianna Mace.
