Mayor Roy West will deliver Beaumont's annual State of the City address on March 24 at 11am at the Jefferson Theatre, themed "The Beaumont Awards."

Rather than a traditional policy speech, this year's format recognizes businesses, organizations, and individuals driving city progress. The shift signals a different approach: celebrating what's working instead of just announcing what's planned.

Expect updates on downtown development, infrastructure projects, economic growth metrics, and key initiatives from the past year. The "awards" format means we'll likely hear about businesses that expanded, nonprofits making impact, and community leaders who moved the needle.

For anyone tracking Beaumont's trajectory, this is the annual benchmark. Where did the city invest? What worked? What didn't? Where's momentum building?

When: Monday, March 24, 11am
