Potbelly Sandwich Shop has made its debut on Phelan Boulevard, occupying the former Apricot Lane Boutique location. This marks the first Potbelly in Jefferson County, offering its signature sandwiches and a cozy neighborhood atmosphere.

In September, Tropical Smoothie Cafe began serving a variety of smoothies, Açaí bowls, and healthy meals at 249 North Dowlen Road. Owner Damien Cope expressed excitement about bringing new dining options to Beaumont, despite initial delays.

Looking ahead, Sultan Mediterranean Grill and Lounge is set to open on January 3, 2026, at 6680 Calder Avenue, the former site of The Grill. The restaurant will offer authentic Lebanese cuisine and a hookah lounge experience.

Additionally, Hearsay Beaumont has announced a grand opening date of May 1, 2026, at 461 Bowie Street. The establishment aims to preserve the historic building's charm while introducing a unique dining experience.
