Celebrating Community Leadership at Chamber Honors |
Giglio Distributing receives the Spindletop Award as local volunteers and new leadership take the spotlight |

A thriving community is built by more than big announcements; it is built by the people and organizations who keep showing up.
At its October 6 annual meeting, the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce recognized the businesses and volunteers strengthening Southeast Texas.
The chamber presented its 2026 Spindletop Award to Giglio Distributing, a family-owned business with roots dating to 1955.
The award recognizes corporate citizenship and lasting contributions to the region's economic vitality and quality of life.
The celebration also recognized Chloe Huff of MCT Credit Union as Ambassador of the Year for her service.
Chamber ambassadors helped welcome businesses, attend community events and support member restaurants throughout the year.
Leadership passed from outgoing board chair Dana Simmons to incoming chair Paula Bothe for 2026–27.
Beyond the awards, the gathering offered a reminder that local progress often comes from steady partnerships, volunteer hours and a willingness to invest in neighbors.
Congratulations to this year's honorees and to the people doing meaningful work across the Golden Triangle. |
