Lamar Institute of Technology has been named one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development, one of only 27 institutions across the country to receive this recognition. LIT was honored for excellence in family friendliness, salary and benefits, community engagement, and professional development. When a Beaumont institution makes a national list that short, it is worth stopping to notice.
