The Parks for All plan earned the Gold Award for Advancing Diversity and Social Change from the American Planning Association Texas Chapter. This is not a participation trophy. It is a recognition that Beaumont is planning its future with its people in mind, all of them, and doing it at a level the state is paying attention to.
